September 14, 2022 – Parties interested in this proceeding are asked to confirm whether they will be participating in this proceeding by sending an email to tribunal@tanakiwin.com indicating their intention to participate and providing their contact information by September 14, 2022.

September 28, 2022 – Parties are to file submissions in support of their respective positions by September 28, 2022. This means that parties who support the inclusion of Louis Michiminanakwakwe on the Schedule of Algonquin Ancestors and parties who oppose the inclusion of Louis Michiminanakwakwe on the Schedule of Algonquin Ancestors are to file their respective submissions at the same time. It is expected that the parties will put their best foot forward and provide all relevant information and submissions in support of their respective positions.

November 9, 2022 – Parties are to file responding submissions in support of their respective positions by November 9, 2022. The primary purpose of responding submissions is to provide information and submissions responding to, or commenting on, the materials submitted by another person.

November 18, 2022 – Parties are to file reply submissions in support of their respective positions by November 18, 2022. The primary purpose of reply submissions is to address any new information or arguments that may have been included in the responding submissions of a participant who takes an opposing view. It is expected that reply submissions will be brief and specifically address any new information or arguments.

The hearing for Louis Michiminanakwakwe is scheduled for Tuesday, December 13, 2022, and will begin at 1PM (ET). The hearing will take place in the Copeland Room, at the Best Western Pembroke Inn & Conference Centre, located at 1 International Drive, Pembroke Ontario, K8A 6W5.
