More than 200 people attended the Information Sharing Workshop sponsored by the Algonquins of Ontario in Pembroke last June. The meeting was organized to update community leaders about the negotiations with Governments to achieve a modern day Treaty to settle the Algonquins land claim dating back more than 250 years.

Cliff has the longest standing record for the position of Chief of the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn with a total of 12 years. He was Chief of the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation from 1978-1987 and again from 1989-1993.
